Here at Petersfield Garage Services we have remained open, helping and keeping our customers safely on the road, throughout the rapid and ever-changing disruptions caused by the Coronavirus Covid-19 virus.

Our main priority and responsibility remains to keep our team, our clients, and our community as safe as possible.

To provide clarity and reassurance we wanted to keep you updated on some of the recent changes.

Our business remains OPEN for all our customers

Please remember to check your MOT renewal date if you had your vehicles MOT extended under the covid-19 deferral scheme last year. It is important that you do not let your MOT lapse.

During your visit to the Garage:

Internally, we are supporting our employees to work as safely as possible. They have all been clearly briefed about safe working practices including distancing, hand washing, use of protective equipment, antibacterial substances and are aware that they are to self-isolate where they show symptoms, or have been in close contact with anyone who is or has been unwell with covid-19 symptoms. We have also erected safety screens and implemented other safety measures to help protect both our employees and customers.

On every Vehicle Repair, Service or MOT that we undertake we will always:
- Use protective coverings for seats and upholstery as required.
- Wear gloves at all times whilst working and use a clean pair for each vehicle worked on.
- Use anti-bacterial gels, wipes and sanitisers frequently and between each job we undertake.

We kindly ask all our customers to:
- Observe signage and stand at least 2 metres away from other customers and staff in our reception area.
- Use the anti-bacterial hand gels and hand washing facilities provided when entering and leaving the building.
- Not to bring their car in for MOT, Service, or repair if they feel unwell or have been in close contact with anyone who is or has been unwell with covid-19 symptoms.
